Busser - Service Support
About The Position
The Busser supports bartenders, cocktail staff, and wait staff by maintaining cleanliness and providing the assistance needed for fast, friendly, accommodating service. The role helps deliver a guest experience combining food, drinks, and games while following company safety and sanitation policies. Duties include keeping bus stands and wait stations clean and stocked; emptying trash and spot-sweeping; handling opening, closing, and party-breakdown tasks; preparing supplies for shift changes or closing; checking food garnishes and following tray procedures; bussing and resetting tables; delivering food; assisting guests by clearing dishes and glassware and refilling beverages; helping set up parties; maintaining restrooms and restocking supplies; cleaning high chairs and booster chairs; and supporting other team members as needed. The work takes place in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions. Team members may work days, nights, and/or weekends as required, and must be able to move about the facility and stand or walk for the full shift. The listed salary range is 6.49–13.73.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must be friendly and able to smile while working.
- Must demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly with guests and other team members.
- Must be able to read and write handwritten notes.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Must be able to move about the facility and walk or stand for 100% of the shift.
- Must be able to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions.
Nice To Haves
- Restaurant and/or bar experience is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain bus stand and wait-station cleanliness and stock supplies.
- Empty trash and spot-sweep when needed or when requested by a manager.
- Perform opening and closing responsibilities, including party breakdown duties.
- Restock and prepare supplies for shift changes or closing.
- Ensure food is properly garnished before running it to guests.
- Follow tray procedures to minimize loss and ensure food is delivered timely and correctly.
- Bus and reset tables.
- Deliver food to tables and make sure guests have what they need.
- Assist guests by clearing dishes and glassware and refilling beverages.
- Assist with party setup.
- Maintain restroom cleanliness and restock supplies.
- Clean high chairs and booster chairs.
- Assist other team members as needed or when business needs dictate.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
