Busser / Service Support
About The Position
The Busser / Service Support assists Bartenders and Servers by maintaining cleanliness and providing the support needed for fast, friendly, and accommodating service. The role contributes to a fun, welcoming Guest experience in a restaurant and entertainment environment. It includes cleaning and stocking work areas, bussing and resetting tables, assisting Guests, supporting parties, and helping other Team Members as needed. The work takes place in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions. Team Members may be scheduled days, nights, and/or weekends as required, and must be able to move throughout the facility, stand or walk for the entire shift, and perform frequent reaching, bending, and stooping. The listed salary range is 10.7–17.
Requirements
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly with Guests and other Team Members.
- Be friendly and able to smile frequently while working.
- Be able to read and write handwritten notes.
- Be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Be able to move about the facility and stand for long periods; walk or stand for 100% of the shift.
- Be able to reach, bend, and stoop frequently.
- Be available to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
Nice To Haves
- Restaurant and/or bar experience is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist Bartenders and Servers in maintaining area cleanliness and providing service support.
- Keep the bus stand clean and stocked, and ensure wait stations remain clean.
- Empty trash and spot-sweep floors when needed or when requested by a Manager.
- Perform opening and closing responsibilities, including party breakdown duties.
- Restock and prepare supplies for shift changes and closing.
- Bus and reset tables.
- Assist Guests by clearing dishes and glassware and refilling beverages.
- Assist with party setup.
- Maintain restroom cleanliness and restock restroom supplies.
- Clean high chairs and booster chairs.
- Assist other Team Members as needed or when business needs dictate.
- Keep the immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters and take corrective action or suggest alternatives when appropriate.
- Follow company sanitation procedures and contribute to a warm, fun atmosphere for Guests and Team Members.
