About The Position

A Hard Rock Cafe Busser supports restaurant operations through table maintenance, cleanliness, stocking, and teamwork. The position requires strong organizational skills, a sense of urgency, physical stamina, and a positive attitude to help create an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities include clearing and resetting tables, pre-bussing during guest dining, sweeping floors, emptying trash, maintaining an organized back dock, and stocking ice and other products. Bussers work closely with Hosts, Servers, and fellow Bussers. Depending on the cafe, duties may also include clearing condiments, refilling guest beverages, and setting up bar premixes. The role also requires following safety and sanitation standards, uniform guidelines, recycling products whenever possible, and upholding Hard Rock Cafe’s Five Core Values and Mission Statement. The position’s essential functions may not encompass every task assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Meet the minimum legal age for employment.
• Remain calm in a hectic, fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Have a strong sense of urgency and a positive, friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers.
• Maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance.
• Be able to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for extended periods, and sit for extended periods when required.
• Be able to perform repetitive arm, hand, and wrist movements; communicate verbally and hear clearly; demonstrate manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination; and work with hands above shoulder level.
• Be able to occasionally lift, push, pull, carry, or move items up to 10 pounds, and twist and turn body parts as needed.
• Be able to work in environments with heat, cold, chemicals, and loud noise.
• Be able to travel by automobile or airplane for extended periods when required.

Responsibilities

• Clear dirty tables promptly and reset them for incoming guests.
• Pre-bus tables during guest dining experiences.
• Sweep floors and maintain overall cleanliness.
• Empty trash cans and maintain a clean, organized back dock area.
• Stock ice and other products as needed.
• Work with a sense of urgency and communicate effectively with Hosts, Servers, and fellow Bussers.
• Depending on the cafe, clear ketchup bottles and condiments from tables, refill guest beverages, and set up bar premixes.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards and uniform guidelines.
• Recycle products whenever possible.
