About The Position

Bussers continuously clean and set up Flanigan’s dining rooms, bars, and patios to support a positive service experience. They support servers, bartenders, and the rest of the team by preparing the restaurant, clearing and cleaning, interacting with guests, and keeping the venue in good order.

Requirements

• Be able to reach, bend, and stoop frequently.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and lift heavy loads to high shelves, coolers, and freezers.
• Be able to work in a damp, high-temperature environment, indoors and minimally outdoors.
• Complete and pass the Florida Responsible Vendor program in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes.
• Complete and pass a food safety certification program in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes.
• Be able to speak, read, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training.
• Clean and set up tables for new guests in a timely manner.
• Assist guests by clearing dishes and glassware.
• Remove trash and debris from bar and dining area floors.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, outside parking areas, patios, and waiting areas.
• Ensure high chairs and booster seats are sanitary.
• Perform shift changes, opening and closing duties, and assigned sidework.
