About The Position

Bussers keep Flanigan’s dining rooms, bars, and patios clean and ready for service. They support servers, bartenders, and the wider team by clearing and cleaning guest areas, setting tables, assisting guests, and maintaining the restaurant and its surrounding areas.

Requirements

• Frequently reach, bend, and stoop.
• Lift up to 50 pounds, including lifting heavy loads to high shelves, coolers, and freezers.
• Work in a damp, high-temperature environment, indoors and minimally outdoors.
• Complete and pass the Florida Responsible Vendor program in compliance with Flanigan’s policies and Florida statutes.
• Complete and pass the food safety certification program in compliance with Flanigan’s policies and Florida statutes.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training.
• Clean and set up tables for new guests in a timely manner.
• Assist guests by clearing dishes and glassware.
• Remove trash and debris from bar and dining area floors.
• Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms, outside parking areas, patios, and waiting areas.
• Ensure high chairs and booster seats are sanitary.
• Perform shift changes, opening and closing duties, and assigned sidework.
