About The Position

Under the direction of the Manager, the Busser prepares dining rooms for use, cleans assigned areas, and sets tables for further use to ensure a positive guest experience. The position requires working in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful casino environment while maintaining physical stamina and a professional, courteous manner. The employee must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English in connection with the role’s duties and responsibilities. The company gives preference in its employment practices to Native Americans: first to qualified members of the Seminole Tribe, then to qualified members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes.

Requirements

At least one year of high-volume food service experience.
Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in accomplishing position responsibilities to support organizational goals.
Present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and an outgoing personality while maintaining a professional appearance.
Be able to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
Be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment and maintain physical stamina.
Communicate effectively with guests in English in connection with position duties and responsibilities.
Frequently stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, reach, talk or hear, and taste or smell.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Have the vision abilities required for close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjustment of focus.

Responsibilities

Exhibit conduct in accordance with Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
Complete established setup, stocking, and closing duties on time.
Clear, clean, and reset tables according to procedures.
Clean areas under and around tables and hutches.
Follow health and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Maintain a courteous, friendly, polite, congenial, and efficient attitude.
Promote positive guest and employee relations.
Perform other assignments as directed.
