Busser / Food Runner
About The Position
Join the Tides Coastal Kitchen Restaurant team at the Delta Hotel by Marriott Virginia Beach Waterfront. The Busser / Food Runner supports dining-room service by clearing and resetting tables, maintaining service stations, serving guests beverages and bread, and transporting used tableware to the dishwashing area. Associates are expected to follow attendance requirements, be regularly available for work, and perform other job-related duties as assigned. Responsibilities
- Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare tables for resetting.
- Promptly and consistently reset service ware as prescribed.
- Maintain the stock and cleanliness of stations during all meal periods, including necessary equipment, silverware, linen, and condiments.
- Serve guests beverages, bread, and butter at the beginning of their dining experience and replenish as necessary.
- Transport dirty tableware from the dining room to the dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
