About The Position

The Busperson at Hale Hōkūala Kauaʻi, Curio Collection by Hilton helps create memorable dining experiences through friendly guest interactions and clean, organized dining areas. The role supports servers, prepares tables for dining, maintains stocked service stations, and transports used tableware to the dishwashing area. The Busperson must follow health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations. The position requires the ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and to meet the physical demands of the role.

Requirements

• Able to stand for up to an 8-hour shift, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Able to bend, stoop, walk, and lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to work flexible, varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to speak and communicate effectively with guests.

• Customer service experience.
• Experience in food and beverage as a back server or busperson, including in hospitality, healthcare, military, travel, or education.

Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to guest interactions and proactively look for ways to make the guest experience special.
• Remove dishware, glassware, and silverware after meal service and transport them to the dishwashing area.
• Keep service stations stocked, clean, and ready for service.
• Assist servers by delivering beverages, bread, and other items as needed.
• Clear and reset tables with clean serviceware.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
