About The Position

The Business Unit Senior Finance Manager is a strategic controller who co-owns business unit strategy and results with the Managing Director. The role shapes strategy, safeguards the integrity of financial results, and turns financial insight into decisions on pricing, investments, and growth. The manager leads annual planning, forecasting, and monthly performance reviews; presents to senior leadership; and influences business leaders with clear, decision-ready recommendations. The role is hands-on, building models, dashboards, and reporting solutions—including from imperfect data—and partnering with Shared Services and finance peers to strengthen finance support for the business. The position supports HID’s assigned Business Unit through financial analysis, full P&L ownership, month-end close collaboration, variance analysis, risk and opportunity identification, and strategic business partnering. It also guides and develops team members and contributes to improving finance tools, processes, and deliverables. The role is based in Austin, Texas. Immigration sponsorship and international relocation or remote-work arrangements outside the hiring country are not available.
