Willis Johnson Wealth is seeking a hands-on Business Systems Manager to lead technology initiatives and process improvements while running and supporting the firm’s systems day to day. The role has no direct reports and manages the firm’s IT support partner and software vendors, while also troubleshooting systems directly. The position reports to and partners with the Managing Director of Operations, who sets systems architecture and the technology roadmap; the Business Systems Manager leads initiatives that deliver that roadmap. The role is expected to begin with approximately 30% of time spent on technology initiatives and process improvements and 70% on day-to-day system operations, with a target of 50/50 after the first year. The manager will own administration and support for core platforms, maintain integrations and data quality, automate repetitive work, develop reporting, oversee vendors and the managed IT partner, and support compliance activities. Success includes delivering measurable process improvements, resolving critical issues promptly, maintaining reliable integrations and clean data, documenting critical systems, and reducing manual work. The position offers ownership of systems and improvement projects, professional development, and a career path to Senior Business Systems Manager and beyond.
