About The Position

Leads the analysis, development, and implementation of business process improvements and IT solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Requirements

  • Advanced Knowledge of IT Infrastructure
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows-based servers, workstations, and systems critical for retail operations.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP reporting and transactional applications.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel for data analysis, Access for database management, Word for document creation, Outlook for email communications, and PowerPoint for presentations.
  • Ability to analyze intricate technical information and system integrations to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
  • Ability to learn new technology systems, methods, and processes.
  • Ability to research information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Must report any potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, with ten or more years of related experience in information security; or equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified Information Systems Analyst (CISA), or similar certificates required.
  • Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts comprehensive evaluations of retail business functions to devise new or enhanced business processes and information technology systems that support organizational goals.
  • Collaborates closely with retail department management and key stakeholders to identify, document, and understand their specific business needs, objectives, and existing operational procedures.
  • Provides expert technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that optimize retail operations and customer service.
  • Authors and updates functional specifications for newly developed or modified retail business systems, ensuring all technical documentation is clear and compliant with industry standards.
  • Designs, develops, and codes programming systems specifically tailored to retail operational needs, or oversees the consultation and coordination with IT programmers to ensure the design and development of effective automated business solutions.
  • Manages the implementation and rigorous testing of business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance phases, ensuring systems meet specified requirements.
  • Develops, organizes, and conducts comprehensive training sessions for retail business personnel on the effective use of computer hardware and software, focusing on enhancing skills and adopting best practices in business processes.
  • Provides ongoing support and guidance to retail teams, ensuring they can leverage new technologies and processes effectively.
  • Leads Business Systems Management meetings, facilitating productive discussions between IT teams and business partners to align technology solutions with business strategies.
  • Participates in cross-functional teams to brainstorm, develop, and refine new strategies, business initiatives, and best practice processes, aiming to drive innovation and operational excellence in the retail sector.
  • Ensures that all developed systems and processes adhere to organizational policies, industry best practices, and legal standards, particularly concerning data scope, usage, formatting, and security requirements.
  • Carries out management responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, and developing partners; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining partners; scheduling, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
