About The Position

Triunity Software is seeking a sharp and driven Business Systems Analyst to join its growing team in Calgary, Alberta. The role bridges business needs and technical solutions in a software environment, translating requirements into results. The analyst works with stakeholders and development, QA, and project management teams throughout the software development lifecycle, supporting requirements definition, system improvement, user acceptance testing, implementation, rollout, and performance optimization.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role in a software or technology environment.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
Proficiency in requirements documentation, use case development, and process modeling.
Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar platforms.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Post-secondary education in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
Translate business needs into clear system specifications and user stories.
Collaborate with development, QA, and project management teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Conduct gap analysis and process mapping to identify areas for system improvement.
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to elicit and validate requirements.
Support user acceptance testing and assist with system implementation and rollout.
Monitor and report on system performance, identifying opportunities for optimization.
