Business Systems Analyst
About The Position
The Business Systems Analyst supports Uline’s Finance teams by identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting solutions, helping ensure efficient Finance operations. The role partners with Finance on key projects and initiatives to support informed business decisions as the company grows. This is an on-site position at Uline’s corporate headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Uline is a family-owned distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials with more than 10,000 employees across 15 locations. The company is a drug-free workplace; all new hires must complete a pre-employment hair follicle drug screening.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SQL.
- Experience using VBA, Python, or other programming languages.
- Ability to identify process-improvement opportunities and recommend workflow enhancements.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of Power BI.
- Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and improve departmental technology processes through automation and effective use of data.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve user issues in support of Finance operations.
- Maintain and test department software systems to ensure correct setup and reliable performance.
- Collaborate with Finance teams to deliver solutions that meet project requirements and business needs.
