About The Position

The Business Systems Analyst III plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions, focusing on improving business processes and supporting strategic corporate initiatives. This mid-level role takes on more complex projects, acts as a primary liaison for certain stakeholders and plays a more active role in defining and implementing IT solutions. The ideal candidate is a strong analytical thinker, excelling in translating business requirements into actionable software specifications, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Human Resources, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, HRIS Analyst, Recruiting Systems Analyst, or related role.
• 4+ years of experience with data warehouse/business intelligence software.
• Experience supporting recruitment technologies, applicant tracking systems (ATS), or HR technology platforms.
• Strong experience gathering requirements, documenting business processes, and supporting software implementations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting UKG Recruiting Gateway, UKG Pro, or other enterprise recruiting systems.
• Experience integrating recruiting platforms with: LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Job Boards, CRM platforms, Background screening vendors, Onboarding solutions.
• Knowledge of APIs, web services, SFTP integrations, and recruiting technology ecosystems.
• Experience working with HRIS, ATS, CRM, or talent acquisition applications.
• Familiarity with Agile, SDLC, and project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis and documentation of intermediate-level business processes to identify significant opportunities for improvement and automation, driving efficiency across OBHG.
• Act as the primary liaison between specific business unit stakeholders (management, end-users) and technical teams, ensuring clear communication of needs and expectations.
• Translate business requirements into detailed software specifications that guide development teams effectively and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Lead the assessment and documentation of required data and information, using advanced business process modeling and data analysis techniques to optimize information flow and enhance project outcomes.
• Consult with users to define system requirements, taking ownership of the process.
• Develop and document comprehensive system specifications, including complex inputs and outputs, ensuring solutions are cost-effective and feasible.
• Oversee the creation of detailed testing plans and scripts, leading system implementation, and validation efforts to ensure seamless integration.
• Proactively identify and recommend significant enhancements to OBHG applications, with a focus on improving efficiency and user experience.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Business Systems Analyst I, fostering their professional development.
