About The Position

The Business Systems Analyst II serves as a liaison between Supply Chain business stakeholders and technology teams. This role independently gathers requirements, supports ERP/JDE configuration, develops reporting solutions, leads process improvement activities, supports data governance, and coordinates medium-sized projects that improve operational efficiency, data visibility, and business process control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience supporting ERP systems, supply chain, manufacturing, reporting, business systems, or process improvement initiatives.
  • JD Edwards (JDE) Manufacturing/Distribution experience.
  • SQL, Power BI, Sequel Viewpoint, Power Automate, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of supply chain planning and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, KPI development, and dashboards.
  • Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, gap analysis, and functional specifications.
  • Experience with workflow automation, change impact assessment, and process improvement.
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality principles.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Power BI and/or Power Platform certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • APICS CPIM certification.
  • Business analysis training or certification.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements to support operational and system improvement initiatives.
  • Configure, support, and maintain ERP/JDE applications and related business systems.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and lead system testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Troubleshoot business process challenges and system-related issues to ensure operational continuity.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to design, implement, and support system enhancements.
  • Support change management activities, solution deployment, and post-implementation stabilization efforts.
  • Design, develop, and maintain business reports, dashboards, and Power BI solutions.
  • Create and support Sequel Viewpoint reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Develop, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain and manufacturing operations.
  • Lead requirements-gathering sessions, gap analyses, and business process assessments.
  • Develop functional specifications, acceptance criteria, test plans, and implementation support documentation.
  • Lead workflow optimization initiatives and support automation and digital transformation projects.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Document current-state and future-state business processes and workflows.
  • Monitor data quality KPIs and support master data management controls.
  • Participate in data stewardship initiatives and data governance reviews.
  • Define data validation rules and assist with data ownership and governance documentation.
  • Support corrective action planning and follow-up for recurring data quality issues.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional project teams and workstreams.
  • Coordinate project activities, deliverables, testing, training, and stakeholder communications.
  • Track project milestones and communicate status updates, risks, and progress to stakeholders.
