This role serves as a senior principal individual contributor providing enterprise-level strategic and operational leadership for Dataworks’ core product lines. It drives revenue performance, product evolution, and cross-functional alignment through deep strategic insight, advanced analytics, and executive influence. The role acts as a trusted advisor to senior leadership while enabling high-performing, customer-centric products across the portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, business strategy, and operational execution within Dataworks. As part of the Core Business organization, this role shapes and scales Dataworks’ product portfolio by translating market intelligence, customer insights, and advanced analytics into clear strategic direction and executable plans. Operating without direct people management responsibilities, the role partners closely with the CPTO on product evolution, collaborates with Business Development and Go-to-Market teams on commercial growth strategies, and influences senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Technology to drive alignment against revenue, performance, and customer satisfaction goals. This is a high-visibility, high-impact IC role ideal for a product-minded strategist and operator who thrives in fast-moving environments, influences at the executive level, and drives disciplined execution across complex, cross-functional initiatives.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in business strategy, product management, consulting, or related roles.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and drives execution of strategies across the Dataworks organization.
  • Develops concepts into strategies including quantitative analysis and recommendations; screens plans for strategic fit, feasibility and profitability, prior to presentation to senior management.
  • Coordinates input from across the Enterprise to facilitate the integration of business plans, best practices, and global and multi-discipline perspectives.
  • Conducts external research and quantitative analysis as required. Identifies, researches, analyzes, and makes recommendations to support the organizations growth objectives.
  • Teaming up with organization and stakeholder leadership to chalk out and prioritize strategic business objectives.
  • Guiding department leadership with expert advice to enhance overall team efficiency.
  • Keeping meetings focused and planning and coordinating them effectively.
  • Setting key performance indicators to measure and improve organization performance.
  • Providing hands-on support to transform ideas into reality and monitor their progress.
  • Acting on behalf of the EVP to answer inquiries.
  • Steering strategic business initiatives from genesis to fruition.
  • Pinpointing and addressing core issues within business processes.
  • Evaluating risk factors when making critical business decisions.
  • Completing special projects and initiatives with skillful oversight and support.
  • Leading meetings and workshops with meticulous planning and coordination.
  • Identifying areas of improvement across the organization and making actionable recommendations.
  • Develops content, narratives and presentations in support of the EVP for internal and external audiences.
  • Presents to internal executive leadership and stakeholders across FedEx, as well as external C-suite leadership as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
