About The Position

The Senior Manager, Business Strategy (Licensing & Credentials), leads the development and execution of key business plans and initiatives to drive operational performance and growth. This role involves identifying customer and operational needs, removing barriers, and aligning cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives. The position requires managing change initiatives, overseeing process improvements, and providing leadership through coaching and development of associates. The role ensures compliance with company policies and promotes a culture of integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement to deliver measurable business results and support Walmart’s mission. Leads strategic licensing and credentialing initiatives to align with business growth. The Upstream Facility Services Safety team is committed to safeguarding over 7,000 field technicians by developing and executing comprehensive safety programs that prevent incidents and enhance service quality. This team leads safety training, audits, and accident prevention efforts while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborating with stakeholders, they continuously improve processes and promote a secure work environment. With expertise in licensing, credentialing, and strategy execution across multiple states and trade disciplines, the team supports operational excellence and the well-being of the workforce through effective leadership and adherence to safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in driving business strategy execution and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, identify barriers, and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to lead and develop teams through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Expertise in collaborating cross-functionally to align strategic priorities and communicate business plans.
  • Demonstrated adaptability in managing change initiatives and adjusting approaches to ensure successful adoption.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and company policies to ensure compliance and ethical standards.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and leveraging insights to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Social Science, Communications, or related field and 4 years’ experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area.

Responsibilities
