About The Position

The Business Representative serves as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, providing strategic and operational support to optimize client service and ensure seamless execution of business processes. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with a strong understanding of client operations, capable of handling complex issues, improving processes, and mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or vocational education required; post-secondary education preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of customer-facing experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of pricing and invoicing experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • SAP ERP experience required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor and adaptability to change.
  • Strong attention to detail and data interpretation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • UPS WorldShip experience preferred.
  • Background in business, logistics, or supply chain management preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a primary point of contact for client accounts, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvements, cost efficiencies, and enhanced client satisfaction.
  • Assist the Business Manager in identifying opportunities to leverage company infrastructure to meet client needs.
  • Escalates critical issues and coordinates resolutions across multiple internal departments.
  • Oversees daily tactical business requirements, ensuring seamless execution of client deliverables.
  • Manages order flow, backlog, inventory levels, and forecasting with high accuracy to support business objectives.
  • Ensures client pricing models, invoicing accuracy, and contractual obligations are met.
  • Analyzes Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and generates insights to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Utilizes SAP ERP and other business intelligence tools to track and improve operational performance.
  • Develops and delivers reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Works closely with finance, logistics, and operations teams to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Leads or participates in cross-functional projects, including forecasting, new client onboarding, and supply chain optimization.
  • Other duties as assigned.
