As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred; or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the transportation industry.
  • Strong understanding of the transportation industry, especially fleets and semi-truck dealerships.
  • Familiarity with asset disposition processes and challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs effectively.
  • Proactive and creative in identifying opportunities for business growth.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other relevant sales tools.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target fleets and semi-truck dealerships for potential business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within fleets and semi-truck dealerships.
  • Understand clients’ needs and challenges to tailor solutions that align with their business goals.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations to showcase our asset disposition services and highlight their benefits.
  • Negotiate terms and contracts to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership with clients.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless implementation of asset disposition services.
  • Provide feedback and insights to improve service offerings based on client feedback and industry demands.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Track and report on sales metrics, providing regular updates to the management team.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to asset disposition in the transportation sector.
