About The Position

The Business Process Transformation Leader leads company-wide process transformation initiatives across FET's end-to-end operations, with a particular focus on the order-to-cash value stream—from demand planning through procurement, manufacturing, shipping, invoicing, and customer delivery. This highly visible, hands-on role works directly with business leaders and functional teams to understand current workflows, uncover root causes and improvement opportunities, and implement practical, scalable solutions that deliver measurable results. With senior leadership sponsorship, the role influences across functions, balances transformation priorities with daily operating requirements, and establishes standardized ways of working to improve efficiency, accountability, visibility, and customer experience. The leader drives initiatives beyond recommendations, engaging in the details of workflows, systems, responsibilities, and execution to ensure solutions are adopted and sustained. FET is a global company serving the crude oil, natural gas, and renewable energy industries. It is headquartered in Houston, Texas, and has manufacturing, distribution, and service facilities supporting major energy-producing regions worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Lead FET-wide business process transformation initiatives across commercial, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, finance, customer service, and IT, emphasizing the complete order-to-cash cycle.
  • Work with business leaders and functional teams to document current-state processes, identify pain points, system constraints, handoff gaps, and inefficiencies, and define future-state requirements.

  • Ensure employees and process owners understand their responsibilities and can execute standardized processes consistently.
  • Lead cross-functional workshops, value-stream and process-mapping sessions, problem-solving activities, and change-management efforts.
  • Partner with IT to improve Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central utilization, streamline workflows, strengthen data and process discipline, and identify automation and digital-transformation opportunities.
  • Establish process governance, performance metrics, review routines, and accountability mechanisms to measure results and sustain improvements.
  • Balance transformation initiatives with day-to-day operating requirements, working with senior leadership and Corporate Operations to sequence priorities and minimize disruption.
  • Track and communicate progress, risks, decisions, and measurable outcomes to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
