About The Position

This position is for a Business Process Engineer at Nalley Consulting, supporting the U.S. SOUTHERN COMMAND J2 office at SOUTHCOM HQ in Doral, FL. The role involves developing and refining business process models to optimize workflows for program execution and interagency coordination. Key responsibilities include identifying areas for process automation, efficiency improvements, and performance tracking, ensuring alignment with DoD best practices. A quarterly report on Business Process Optimization & Automation is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in financial management.
• Knowledge and capability to track program financials, manage budgets, and align funding streams with DoD financial planning processes.
• Proficiency in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, financial forecasting, and cost estimation.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Demonstrated experience in DoD budget execution, cost estimation, and financial reporting.
• Experience with defense financial management systems, congressional budget justifications, and funding reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine business process models, optimizing workflows for program execution and interagency coordination.

• Submit a quarterly Business Process Optimization & Automation Report, detailing process improvements, automation strategies, and workflow enhancements.
• Track program financials, manage budgets, and align funding streams with DoD financial planning processes.
• Support funding justifications and expenditure tracking through strong analytical and reporting skills.
