About The Position

The Business Process Engineer will analyze current production, delivery, and logistics processes for ready-mix concrete and aggregate products. This role involves identifying inefficiencies, recommending and implementing process improvements to reduce waste, increase output, and ensure cost-effectiveness. The engineer will develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance consistency and quality, ensuring production processes meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. Collaboration with internal teams to integrate new tools and systems, along with providing training and support, is crucial. The position requires working closely with plant managers, production teams, and logistics personnel to identify and address operational challenges, and monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) across plant operations. The role also involves using data to develop and present reports to leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field, or relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in process engineering, operations management, or continuous improvement, preferably in the construction/building materials industry
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Proficiency and Strong analytical skills in data analysis techniques and tools
  • Experience in administering reliability systems, and asset tracking solutions.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards applicable to equipment reliability and maintenance (OSHA/MSHA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • During on-call periods, the employee must be prepared to respond to work-related communications and incidents in a timely manner.
