About The Position

Prescient Edge is seeking a Business Process Engineer to support a federal government client. This role involves developing and refining business process models, optimizing workflows for program execution and interagency coordination. The engineer will identify areas for process automation, efficiency improvements, and performance tracking, ensuring alignment with DoD best practices. A key responsibility includes submitting a quarterly Business Process Optimization & Automation Report.

Requirements

  • Possess the knowledge and capability to track program financials, manage budgets, and align funding streams with DoD financial planning processes.
  • Proficient in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, financial forecasting, and cost estimation.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills are required to support funding justifications and expenditure tracking.
  • Demonstrated experience in DoD budget execution, cost estimation, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with defense financial management systems, congressional budget justifications, and funding reconciliation is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in financial management.
  • Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a clearance.
