About The Position
ECS is seeking a remote Business Process Analyst to gather requirements, map workflows, and support the implementation of automation and system solutions. This mid-senior-level role works closely with senior analysts and project leads. The analyst owns defined process areas while developing toward more strategic responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in business analysis or process improvement.
- Working knowledge of BPMN or similar process modeling tools.
- Exposure to automation platforms such as Power Automate, UiPath, Camunda, or similar.
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Document current-state workflows and identify inefficiencies within assigned business areas.
- Support process redesign efforts under the guidance of senior team members.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops for defined scopes of work.
- Write user stories, functional requirements, and process documentation.
- Assist in identifying automation candidates and testing automated workflows.
- Work with developers to validate that automation meets business requirements.
- Support configuration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and documentation during system rollouts.
- Create BPMN process maps and requirement traceability matrices.
- Serve as a point of contact for business users on day-to-day questions.
- Help facilitate training and adoption of new tools and processes.
