Business Performance Analyst (Mid/Senior)
About The Position
This role supports our Distribution Asset & Program Management Teams. Responsibilities include preparing, analyzing, and presenting Electric Distribution data for business use. Define and develop performance metrics, analyze and recommend data collection process improvements, and ensure data integrity as it relates to reporting and analytics. Identify better work and business processes. Develop cost/allocation, cost/benefit programs, systems, and models to support the development of business strategies. Support, manage, and administer our capital planning investment application used for portfolio planning, risk management, and scenario optimization. Develop programs and implement automated methods and systems to track workflow and performance efficiencies. Perform varied analyses including identification of data outliers using a variety of analytical tools and prepare reports of an economic, business, and engineering nature. Additionally, this role involves understanding financial knowledge as it relates to capital and O&M planning, cost structures, risk quantification, and variance documentation and reporting.
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a directly related field.
- Planning, organizational and project management skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple project teams simultaneously.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making.
- Analytical skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Risk Management/Portfolio System administration or use
- Financial Acumen including understanding of calculating and assessing Cost Benefit Analyses (CBA)
- Business Acumen
- Strong Analytical Skills using a variety of tools (Excel (advanced), Power-Bi, Alteryx etc.)
- Strong team player with a demonstrated ability to collaborate on Cross-functional team projects
- Vendor Management
- Project Management or Program Management Administration experience
- Electric Distribution experience
- General Understanding of Electric Engineering Principles and SAP
