About The Position

Fusion Technology is seeking a Mid-Level Business Analyst to join their team in Washington, DC. This role requires an active Top Secret Clearance and involves supporting the design, implementation, and operation of an enterprise technology asset inventory system that integrates IT Asset Management (ITAM) and IT Service Management (ITSM) practices. The analyst will maintain technology inventory platforms, track assets, support lifecycle processes, curate data, and implement quality controls. They will also conduct data analysis, develop KPIs, and provide insights for improvement. The position involves serving as a liaison with stakeholders, assisting users, gathering evolving needs, and developing relevant documentation, SOPs, workflows, standards, guides, and training materials. Collaboration with other ITBI teams for BI enablement and data standardization is also a key aspect of this role.

Requirements

Active Top Secret Clearance required.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
4-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in data-centric environments.
Strong documentation skills.

A blend of technical acumen, analytical ability, and business communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Some experience with ServiceNow or equivalent ITAM/ITSM platform.
Familiarity with governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

Elicits requirements and supports the design, implementation, and day-to-day operations of a modern enterprise technology asset inventory integrating IT Asset Management (ITAM) and IT Service Management (ITSM) practices.
Maintains both new and legacy technology inventory platforms by tracking assets, supporting lifecycle processes, curating data, and implementing QA, data quality controls, and data‑integrity routines.
Conducts basic analysis of technology inventory data, develops and reports KPIs, and provides insights or recommendations to improve accuracy, usability, and decision‑readiness.
Serves as a liaison with stakeholders, assisting users with technical and program inquiries and gathering evolving needs for system enhancements.
Develops and updates relevant documentation, SOPs, workflows, standards, guides, and training materials.
Collaborates closely across ITBI teams to support BI enablement, data standardization, and any technology inventory‑related BI reporting.
