About The Position

The IT Business Analyst role focuses on the intersection of business and technology, allowing for skill development in both areas. The position involves working with an Agile team to develop digital products that support client missions. The analyst will help advance business analytics and processes, explore technology trends, and deliver user-friendly client experiences. Responsibilities include developing solutions within a cloud-based Life Cycle Management Process-Integrated Data Environment (LCMP-IDE), collaborating with requirements analysts, designers, developers, and testers, and experienced business analysts. The role involves identifying client business needs, gathering user requirements, and developing user stories. The analyst will guide the team in fulfilling these needs by creating deployable features and delivering high-value products to support the Air Force, specifically in modernizing management weapons systems.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a business analyst or process improvement practitioner
Experience using Microsoft Products, including Visio and PowerPoint
Experience with data visualization, such as process maps and frameworks
Knowledge of SysML or similar modeling language
Ability to conduct research and evaluate options for action
Ability to independently assess existing system functionality, including user experience and data relationships
Ability to present concepts, including verbal or written, to varied audiences using logical and persuasive language
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

Experience performing root cause analyses or supporting rapid process improvement events
Experience creating tickets and developing queries in Azure DevOps
Knowledge of nuclear compatibility, surety, or operational processes
Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, policies, and procedures
Knowledge of Air Force Instructions and Manuals
Ability to work confidently with and present to senior ranking officials
Possession of excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
Master's degree
