About The Position

Forge (backed by OpenAI and Founders Fund, https://withforge.com/), is encoding and automating all manual human processes using AI for the world’s largest companies. With it, Forge went zero to millions in revenue with 4 people in one year. We’re now 34 people, with multiple Fortune 500 customers across multiple industries (banking, insurance, telecom, and more), and we need to scale to 80+ people in the next 6 months, while only increasing the quality of the people here. The Forge product is a novel way to create software and define processes using English, while being precise enough to work at scale reliably to do essential operations. It surpasses both AI agents and code in its quality, capabilities, and power. Results: 98%+ accuracy, multi-hour long workflows, and over a million production runs completed for global enterprises. Forge is the only system in the world of AI that has been able to generically achieve such a feat. (and our customers agree – they’ve tried hundreds of AI tools, and Forge has been the only one to truly lead to business-moving metric improvements) We’re at an inflection point — and have one of the strongest and nicest teams (Palantir head of financial services vertical, Scale VP of Ops, Ramp growth lead, ex-founders). But, it is not enough. Forge is now looking for a generalist operator to work with the leadership team directly to build the most effective organization. This encompasses people, internal operations, organizational efficiency, and other special projects as they arise. The first major goal is to build the best recruiting system in the world and design the company structure here at Forge. You’ll drive this #1 priority of the company end-to-end with our leadership team.

Requirements

  • You fundamentally like people and care about high-performance in people
  • You will not drop a ball - there will be lots of moving pieces and everything needs to get done with full trust in you. Being Type A is very helpful
  • You’ve done difficult things before and want to push yourself
  • You can be systematic but can also leverage your creativity to try new experiments
  • If you care deeply about talent, love people, organizational design, have strong opinions on greatness, like creative experiments/ideas, are high agency, and can manage across multiple chaotic operational processes at once, then let’s chat.

  • No prior people/hiring experience required, but you should have opinions on people, talent, and what greatness looks like.

Responsibilities

  • Design and run the entire recruiting engine end-to-end
  • Source, close, and build relationships with the best people in the world
  • Build the infrastructure (process, tooling, coordination, analytics) that scales the company’s internal operations
  • Define and continuously improve how we operate in our internal planning and business reviews
  • Ensure every business function is built from first principles in the right way
  • Determine how to build the most effective organization internally with proper training to ensure our forward deployed motion is regimented and high calibre with every new hire we bring on
