Business Operations Analyst

Eka•Cambridge, MA

About The Position

Eka Robotics is seeking a hands-on Business Operations Analyst to join the Head of Operations’ team and help a fast-growing company operate effectively. This broad generalist role spans operational projects, analysis, coordination, and day-to-day execution. The analyst will take loosely defined problems, identify and drive the necessary actions, and follow work through to completion while finding more efficient ways to operate. The role may involve evaluating facilities expansion, building cost models, preparing company-wide or investor materials, improving internal processes, coordinating cross-functional projects, and taking ownership of emerging issues across the company. The analyst will partner directly with the Head of Operations and company leadership on priorities as the company grows.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, business operations, a startup, or another fast-paced analytical environment.
  • Ability to take ambiguous problems, determine next steps, and independently drive work to completion without constant direction.
  • Structured conceptual and analytical problem-solving skills, including the ability to learn unfamiliar topics quickly and make sound judgments.
  • Willingness to handle analytical work as well as detailed coordination, follow-up, and administrative work.
  • Resourcefulness and curiosity, including proactively exploring tools, technologies, and ways of working to improve company effectiveness.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, prioritization, and ability to manage multiple workstreams and close open loops reliably.
  • Clear, polished written and verbal communication skills and ability to work across technical teams, leadership, and external partners.
  • Adaptability in a fast-moving startup environment where priorities and role scope evolve.
  • Excitement about the mission of building general-purpose manipulation and foundation models; engineering experience is not required.
  • B.S. in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of company-level projects and ad hoc needs, driving them from initial question through execution and follow-up.
  • Coordinate across teams, vendors, and external partners to keep projects moving, resolve issues, and close open loops.
  • Support analytical projects such as operational planning, cost modeling, and evaluating company needs or investments.
  • Prepare materials for town halls, board and investor communications, conferences, external events, and other company priorities.
  • Improve lightweight internal processes, maintain company documentation, and organize important information and recurring operating rhythms.
  • Partner with the Head of Operations and company leadership on priorities involving facilities, internal operations, marketing, corporate initiatives, and other areas.
