About The Position

The Business Line Leader will build the US Valve Data Center Cooling business into a scalable growth business and own its results. The role leverages products, technologies, and capabilities from across IDEX to deliver complete customer solutions through US Valve. Data Center Cooling is a primary growth priority across IDEX Performance Pneumatics, and the leader is accountable for linking customer needs to the right products, capabilities, leaders, and relationships across IDEX. The leader develops and owns the business’s Annual Operating Plan, including strategy, forecast, revenue, gross margin, pricing, and resource allocation, and leads its execution once approved. The role leads and scales the Global Commercial team and Program Management, establishes the structure and accountability needed for growth, and drives customer engagement, connected growth across IDEX, and consistent business performance. Success includes meeting or exceeding plan commitments, strengthening priority customer relationships, converting pipeline opportunities, delivering differentiated cross-IDEX solutions, and meeting delivery, quality, and execution commitments. The position owns growth, revenue, and gross margin for Data Center Cooling and the US Valve portfolio; sets priorities based on market mapping, competitive intelligence, and 80/20; maintains a visible opportunity pipeline; and drives the NPD funnel and roadmap in partnership with Product Management and Engineering. It serves as senior business partner and escalation point for priority customers, builds repeatable voice-of-customer processes, and turns unmet needs into growth and execution priorities. The leader partners across functions and businesses, uses fact-based root-cause analysis to address problems, and balances growth, margin, cash, customer commitments, and long-term capability. Pricing, resource allocation, growth priorities, and commercial investment are decided within the approved plan and budget; capital, M&A, partnerships, and matters outside the plan are recommended to the GM and platform leadership. The role requires global travel to customers, suppliers, and partner businesses. Compensation is $168,100–$252,100, depending on experience, and the position may be eligible for a performance-based bonus plan.
