About The Position

This role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting front-end user-facing solutions for reporting and analytics. The Business Intelligence Architect will perform data analysis, construct technical designs, communicate with stakeholders, and coordinate offshore development and support resources. The position involves creating data models, ensuring data integrity, guiding offshore teams, promoting BI solution adoption, collaborating with Architecture and Security teams, and maintaining technical documentation. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline and 3 to 5 years of related experience OR High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) and 6 to 8 plus years of specific experience
2 plus years of Power BI experience, including experience with Data Set creation and utilizing DAX
Excellent SQL skills

Nice To Haves

Master’s Degree
Experience with Snowflake, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure
Architecting and developing solutions on Cognos
Proficiency in JavaScript
Knowledge of data warehousing and modeling concepts
Familiarity with other BI, analytics, or data science tools
Experience working on agile/SCRUM teams, including collaboration with offshore resources

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support front-end user-facing solutions for reporting and analytics
Perform comprehensive data analysis and create data models for peer review
Provide guidance and direction to offshore support and development resources
Promote the adoption of BI solutions and capabilities while encouraging citizen developer initiatives
Collaborate closely with Architecture and Security teams to ensure compliance with security and authentication standards
Maintain accurate and complete technical architecture documentation, and plan for capacity
Other duties as assigned
