About The Position

Agtegra Cooperative is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer Intern in Aberdeen, SD for the summer of 2027. Agtegra Cooperative is a local agricultural cooperative headquartered in Aberdeen, SD. It is owned by over 7,000 farmers and ranchers, predominantly in North and South Dakota, with a network of over 70 locations and 850 employees. Gain hands-on experience while working side by side with industry experts through our Agtegra First internship program. As a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the businesses at Agtegra by contributing to the development of BI solutions that enable data-driven decision making and process efficiency. You’ll have an opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and build meaningful relationships.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, information systems, analytics, or a related field.
Basic understanding of SQL, relational databases and data warehousing.
Basic understanding of data pipelines and ETL processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Must be 18 years or older.
English proficiency.
Valid Driver's License.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with BI tools (e.g. Power BI) is a plus.
Experience with Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing, developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards.
Collaborate with business teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical specifications.
Gain hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes that move and transform data across systems.
Learn about data modeling principles and how they impact reporting and analytics.
Assist in optimizing SQL queries for performance.
Document BI processes, data sources and report logic.
Adheres to all safety regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy and fleet safety program, and DOT regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
