About The Position

Eskenazi Health is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer III to join its Analytics team. The role transforms complex healthcare data into meaningful insights to support patient care, health equity, informed decision-making, and improved healthcare operations. The developer designs and optimizes reporting and analytics solutions, works with stakeholders across the organization, and helps maintain and enhance Eskenazi Health’s analytics environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Informatics, Business, Mathematics, Healthcare, or a related field.
• At least two years of analytical experience in a healthcare or health system setting.
• Strong SQL development and database querying skills.
• Healthcare analytics experience or equivalent Eskenazi Health experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Epic reporting and analytics tools.
• Epic certifications in Cogito, Caboodle, Clarity, Clinical Data Model, or Data Courier. Candidates who do not already hold the relevant certification will be required to obtain it within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
• Use Epic Cogito, Clarity, Caboodle, SlicerDicer, SQL, and other business intelligence tools to provide actionable insights.
• Partner with leaders, clinicians, analysts, and technical teams to understand reporting needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and reporting accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex reporting and data issues.
• Develop and support data models and ETL processes.
• Mentor team members and help advance data literacy across the organization.
• Contribute to the growth and enhancement of Eskenazi Health’s analytics environment.
