About The Position

Robert Half is seeking a Business Intelligence Analytics Engineer III to join the Financial Data & Analytics (FD&A) team. The FD&A team provides centralized ownership of Finance & Accounting reporting, analytics, data governance, automation & insights, and reporting tools & technologies. We partner closely with the CFO organization including Corporate Finance, Corporate Accounting, Corporate Services, FP&A, and business leaders across Talent Solutions and Protiviti to deliver trusted data, scalable reporting solutions, and actionable business insights. Our team is focused on continuously enhancing Robert Half's analytics capabilities by leveraging financial, operational, and enterprise data to identify trends, uncover insights, and support strategic decision-making. Through collaboration with Data & Analytics teams across the organization, we develop reporting, dashboard, automation, and advanced analytics solutions that empower business leaders and enable more informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, data warehousing, enterprise reporting solutions, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with business stakeholders and translate complex business challenges into scalable analytics, reporting, and data solutions.
  • Proven ability to lead analytics initiatives through the full solution lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through deployment, adoption, and ongoing support.
  • 5+ years of experience with BI and visualization platforms such as Domo (preferred), Workday Prism Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, Business Objects, or similar technologies, along with strong proficiency in SQL.
  • 3+ years of experience designing and maintaining data models, ETL processes, data pipelines, and data integration solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Python, R, Jupyter Notebooks, or comparable analytical programming tools for automation, advanced analytics, or data engineering is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate expertise in and leverage modern business intelligence and analytics platforms, including Domo (preferred), Tableau, Workday Prism Analytics, Cognos, and Power BI.
  • Design and develop dashboards with KPIs, drill-through capabilities, and effective visualizations that translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
  • Apply statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and advanced analytics techniques to uncover trends and support data-driven decision-making, including predictive billing models, correlation analysis of economic trends, and business performance insights.
  • Leverage SQL, Python, R, Jupyter Notebooks, modern BI platforms, and analytics engineering practices to deliver trusted reporting, automation, advanced analytics, and business insights.
  • Integrate and transform data from cloud-based platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, AWS, and enterprise data warehouses into the Domo data warehouse using modern ETL practices.
  • Lead analytics initiatives through the full solution lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, UAT, deployment, adoption, and ongoing support.
  • Serve as a bridge between technical and business teams, translating complex business challenges into practical analytics solutions.
  • Recommend data architecture, data quality, and process improvements that strengthen reporting and analytics capabilities.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, BI developers, data architects, and end users to ensure solutions align with business objectives and data governance standards.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions that support enterprise analytics initiatives.
  • Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and timelines while effectively managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and development support to analysts, BI developers, and business partners across the organization.
  • Demonstrate patience, collaboration, and a customer-focused approach throughout requirements gathering, testing, training, and solution adoption.
  • Champion self-service analytics by promoting best practices, delivering user training, and improving data literacy across the business.
