About The Position

The Business Intelligence & AI Solutions Specialist joins the Technology organization at S&P Global Dow Jones Indices, which is focused on modernizing platforms and delivery through collaboration, high performance, and enterprise AI capabilities. The role supports organizational effectiveness and operational excellence by delivering business intelligence, AI-enabled workflows, data visualizations, governance practices, and process improvements. The specialist designs and implements solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies, develops and deploys AI-enabled workflows and agentic solutions, and builds knowledge sources for AI agents. The position also supports the APMO team with procedures, controls, and metrics; helps stakeholders make data-driven decisions; and facilitates engagement initiatives and AI adoption. The role collaborates across functions using agile development methodologies and stays informed about responsible AI, enterprise AI governance, privacy, security, and emerging AI practices.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related technical roles.
Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform technologies, such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, or Copilot Studio.
Experience with data modeling, data visualization, and Power Query (M).
Ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that process large volumes of data from multiple sources.
Ability to write and optimize DAX measures and calculated columns aligned with business metrics.
Strong hands-on experience with SQL; MySQL or PostgreSQL preferred, including query optimization.
Experience with report scheduling, publication, security, and access management.
Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, with hands-on experience implementing automated workflows and intelligent solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to present complex data insights to diverse audiences.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Collaborative mindset and experience working across cross-functional teams and with stakeholders at all levels.
Adaptability and creative problem-solving skills to deliver results-oriented solutions.

Nice To Haves

Experience with agile development processes and project management methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
Exposure to Microsoft Fabric.
Previous experience in financial services, data services, or technology organizations, including exposure to operational process improvement.

Responsibilities

Design and implement Business Intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power BI, Copilot Studio, and Power Apps.
Develop and deploy AI-enabled workflows and agentic solutions that improve operational efficiency across product development lifecycles.
Support the APMO team in establishing procedures, controls, and metrics for Technology organization effectiveness and compliance.
Create data visualization dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making across organizational levels.
Coordinate and facilitate team engagement initiatives, including town halls, team-building activities, and AI adoption workshops.
Build and curate knowledge sources for AI agents, maintaining content freshness, relevance, and governance.
Stay informed about responsible AI, enterprise AI governance, privacy, security, and emerging AI practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement process improvements using agile development methodologies.
