About The Position

The Business Intelligence & AI Solutions Specialist will support the Technology organization at S&P Global Dow Jones Indices during a period of modernization and expanded use of enterprise AI. The role focuses on building business intelligence solutions and AI-enabled workflows that improve operational effectiveness, support compliance, and help stakeholders make data-driven decisions. The specialist will develop dashboards, reports, scalable data pipelines, and intelligent solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies and related data tools. The role also supports APMO procedures, controls, and metrics; maintains governed knowledge sources for AI agents; and collaborates across teams to identify automation opportunities and improve processes. The position contributes to organizational change through team engagement initiatives and AI adoption workshops, while staying current with responsible AI, governance, privacy, security, and emerging AI practices.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related technical roles.
Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform technologies, such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, or CoPilot Studio.
Experience with data modeling, data visualization, and Power Query (M).
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for large volumes of data from multiple sources.
Ability to write and optimize DAX measures and calculated columns aligned with business metrics.
Strong hands-on SQL experience; MySQL or PostgreSQL preferred.
Experience with report scheduling, publication, security, and access management.
Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, with hands-on experience implementing automated workflows and intelligent solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex data insights to diverse audiences.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Collaborative mindset and experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
Adaptability and creative problem-solving skills to develop results-oriented solutions.

Nice To Haves

Experience with agile development processes and project management methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
Exposure to Microsoft Fabric.
Previous experience in financial services, data services, or technology organizations, including exposure to operational process improvement.

Responsibilities

Design and implement Business Intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, CoPilot Studio, and Power Apps.
Develop and deploy AI-enabled workflows and agentic solutions that improve operational efficiency across product development lifecycles.
Support the APMO team in establishing procedures, controls, and metrics for Technology organization effectiveness and compliance.
Create data visualization dashboards and reports to support data-driven decisions across organizational levels.
Coordinate team engagement initiatives, including town halls, team-building activities, and AI adoption workshops.
Build and curate knowledge sources for AI agents, maintaining content freshness, relevance, and governance.
Stay informed about responsible AI, enterprise AI governance, privacy, security, and emerging AI practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement process improvements using agile development methodologies.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that process data from multiple sources.
