About The Position

Engages in data collection, maintenance, and analysis to support evaluation, assessment, and strategic planning. The role drives data-informed decision-making and develops streamlined, automated, value-based business tools across the organization. It uses strategies and technology to analyze current and historical data to improve decision-making and provide a competitive advantage.

This individual contributor works independently, may require guidance in highly complex situations, and may lead functional projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. The position supports business audiences through user training and presentation of analytical insights, and performs other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Strong technical expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, SQL, and data modeling.
• Advanced DAX, Power Inquiry, M Language, and analytics solution development skills.
• Database skills, including writing complex queries, data manipulation, and query optimization.
• Experience developing and supporting end-to-end analytics solutions from source systems to executive dashboards.
• Experience with relational databases, dimensional data modeling, ETL processes, data integration, and data pipeline concepts.
• Typically requires 5+ years of related work experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, scorecards, and semantic models to understand business problems and deliver analytical solutions.
• Devise efficient, scalable methods to identify data patterns and trends and architect end-to-end analytics solutions.
• Perform specialized assignments, solve complex problems, and develop non-traditional solutions through sophisticated analytical thinking.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes, including through approved AI technologies, to improve organizational efficiency.
• Interpret the internal and external business environment and understand relationships among business processes, systems, and their impacts.
• Recommend best practices to improve processes or services based on data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.
• Design and support ETL processes, data pipelines, and data transformation workflows to ensure reliable, timely data availability.
• Contribute to customer, operational, project, or service objectives, including delivering user training and presenting analytical insights to business audiences to promote adoption of Power BI solutions.
• Communicate difficult concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders and team members to create clarity and alignment on projects, initiatives, and work products.
• May lead functional projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
