Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Business Insurance Marketing Lead to coordinate marketing for new and renewal business. This role supports Producer’s sales efforts by applying strong coverage and underwriting knowledge, including carrier guidelines, alternative funding arrangements, and legislative changes. The ideal candidate will build lasting relationships with clients, carrier representatives, and teammates, acting as a consultative point of contact for clients regarding coverages and marketing matters. This position involves identifying client needs, providing recommendations, assisting producers in sales efforts (RFPs, prospect meetings, selling additional lines/endorsements), and maintaining key client and carrier relationships. The role requires staying updated on the current marketplace and risk transfer alternatives, coordinating with leadership on LOB strategy, negotiating pricing and policy conditions with carriers, and collecting client information. The Marketing Lead will also provide coverage analyses, lead marketing and renewal strategies, prepare company applications and submissions, create proposals and finance agreements, and present coverage recommendations to clients. The ability to direct renewal strategy, mid-year reviews, and stewardship meetings, along with occasional overnight travel, is expected. The role also involves utilizing client management systems, attending industry seminars, and serving as a knowledgeable resource for teammates, including mentoring and training account team members.
