About The Position

The JM Family College Internship Program provides college students with meaningful work experiences related to their studies. Interns contribute to their teams, learn about JM Family’s companies and culture, and build skills through learning opportunities and networking events. The ideal candidate will be available to work full-time during the Summer Internship Program, May 24, 2027 through July 30, 2027.

As a Business Insights Intern, you will gain exposure to how data and analytics can shape business strategy and support innovation within JM&A. You will develop an understanding of the F&I business while contributing to JM&A’s goal of leading the future of F&I through the intelligent use of data. Interns perform hands-on work on projects and tasks and contribute to department initiatives while learning JM Family’s core values: Consideration, Cooperation, Communication, Innovation, and Accountability.

This is a full-time position with flexible working arrangements depending on business needs. Work arrangements may be revised based on associate performance, business need, and manager discretion. The job description may not include all assigned duties and may be amended at the company’s discretion.

Requirements

• Be actively enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or other degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university, with a focus in a relevant field; candidates in related fields will also be considered.
• Have completed at least one semester of coursework.
• Have knowledge of or experience with artificial intelligence (AI) concepts and applications.
• Have knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis.
• Have strong analytical skills and the ability to connect data and findings to relevant business insights.
• Have an interest in applying data and analytics to business challenges and decision-making.
• Be available to work full-time during the Summer Internship Program, May 24, 2027 through July 30, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support the “Dealers Like Me” benchmarking platform and its ongoing development.
• Analyze and correlate data to uncover meaningful trends and translate findings into actionable business insights.
• Identify opportunities for additional analytics that can provide greater insight into the business.
• Contribute to ongoing benchmarking efforts that strengthen JM&A’s use of intelligent data.
• Support analytics initiatives that help advance JM&A’s objective of leading the future of F&I.
