SAP iXp Intern - HanaHaus Business Insights Analyst
About The Position
The SAP iXp Intern - HanaHaus Business Insights Analyst is a full-time, six-month internship based at SAP Labs, Inc., The Waterfront in Newport Beach, California, with an expected start date of December 2026. The intern will work at the intersection of data and business, turning live data into insights that support HanaHaus growth and stakeholder decision-making. The role offers hands-on experience in data analytics and business intelligence across business areas, as part of SAP Next Gen, a global community for students and early professionals with access to mentors, development programs, and peers. The intern will build and maintain automated dashboards and reports, conduct financial forecasting, track product utilization, automate finance processes, analyze data from multiple sources, and contribute to leadership presentations and strategic projects. Candidates should be studying or recently graduated in a relevant field and bring Python, SQL, Excel, customer orientation, and strong communication skills. Experience with data visualization tools is a plus. SAP also seeks student and early-talent candidates who are open to using AI tools, including agentic AI, to automate everyday tasks, prototype ideas, and develop confidence in AI-assisted work.
Requirements
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, including pandas, SQL, and Excel for data extraction, analysis, and financial reporting.
- A customer-oriented approach, including identifying needs and translating data insights into actionable business opportunities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Openness to working with AI tools, including agentic AI, to automate everyday tasks and prototype ideas.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Metabase.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards and reports to support stakeholder decision-making.

- Extract and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, correlations, and business opportunities.
- Prepare data contributions for monthly and quarterly leadership presentations.
