About The Position
The SAP iXp Intern - HanaHaus Business Insights Analyst works at the intersection of data and business, turning live data into insights that drive growth at HanaHaus. The intern will gain hands-on experience in data analytics and business intelligence across all areas of the business, working with the HanaHaus team in Newport Beach, California. This is a full-time, six-month internship at SAP Labs, Inc., expected to start in December 2026. The role involves building automated dashboards and reports, conducting financial forecasting, tracking product utilization, automating finance processes, analyzing data from multiple sources, supporting leadership presentations, and contributing to strategic projects. The intern will be part of SAP Next Gen, a global community of students and early professionals with access to mentors, development programs, and peers.
Requirements
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, including pandas, SQL, and Excel for data extraction, analysis, and financial reporting.
- A customer-oriented approach, including identifying needs and translating data insights into actionable business opportunities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Openness to working with AI tools, including agentic AI, to automate everyday tasks, prototype ideas, and build confidence in AI-assisted ways of working.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Metabase.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards and reports that support stakeholder decision-making.
- Conduct financial forecasting, track product utilization, and automate finance processes.
- Extract and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, correlations, and business opportunities.
- Prepare data contributions for monthly and quarterly leadership presentations.
- Contribute to strategic projects and help translate business objectives into actionable development goals.
