This is the intermediate level of the Business Energy Advisor classification hierarchy. Employees at this level solve more complex problems, in business energy areas of specialization, with general supervision. Incumbents are expected to develop advanced skills and the ability to work with greater independence. They effectively apply fundamental concepts and procedures to work that is fairly complex and varied. The purpose of the Business Energy Advisor is to develop relationships with Small/Medium and Large business customers, introduce those customers to Duke Energy Products and Services and close/win customer projects for energy efficiency products and services. And nurture the long term relationship for further Cross-Sell opportunities as new products are available for the SMB markets. This Business Energy Advisor position will conduct on-site energy assessments and provide energy analysis for commercial, industrial, and government customers. Responsibilities span the North Coastal and South Coastal regions, primarily supporting customers in Pinellas County and the Florida Panhandle.
