About The Position

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Solink, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business by identifying and generating new business opportunities. We are looking for a high-performance Mid-Market / Enterprise Business Development Representative who thrives in complex sales environments and knows how to break into larger, multi-location organizations. You will be responsible for strategically targeting and penetrating mid-market and enterprise accounts through a thoughtful, multi-channel outbound approach; including cold calls, strategic email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and event-driven engagement. You will also work closely with Marketing to convert inbound demand from webinars, conferences, field events, and paid campaigns into qualified pipeline for the sales team. Requirements

  • You have an education in Business, Marketing, or a related field OR have relative experience in a similar role
  • You have experience breaking into larger or multi-location accounts
  • You have strong communication and time management skills
  • You’re a resilient problem solver
  • You’re adaptable and can converse with anyone at any level, including VPs and C-level executives in Fortune 1000 companies
  • You like technology and can get excited about the possibilities of how a business can use technology improve their business
  • You’re curious and well researched. Showing the customer you know them comes easy to you as you’ve done the homework and know that a prepared Cold Call or Campaign works best when done with data and knowledge
  • You know that persistence is the key to success in a role like this.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-year of Business Development experience in SaaS, security, retail tech, or multi-location industries
  • Experience maintaining a clean CRM (preferably Hubspot)
  • Experience working trade shows or enterprise events

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and breaking into multi-location organizations (100+ locations and beyond) across Retail, Restaurants, and C-Store/Gas
  • Developing strategic account plans and executing coordinated outreach across calls, email, and LinkedIn
  • Partnering with Account Executives to align on top target accounts and drive account penetration
  • Converting inbound marketing demand (events, webinars, campaigns) into high-quality meetings
  • Conducting strong initial discovery and qualification aligned to our ICP
  • Attending trade shows and field events to generate meetings and build relationships with enterprise prospects
  • Leveraging tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, Loom, and other modern sales platforms to execute efficiently
  • Maintaining clean CRM hygiene and tracking activity against pipeline goals
  • Consistently generating self-sourced pipeline through disciplined outbound execution
