About The Position

Jedox is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their team in Boston, MA. This role focuses on booking sales appointments by creating targeted outreach strategies, engaging decision-makers in mid-market and enterprise accounts, and utilizing AI-powered workflows for research and personalization. The representative will be responsible for delivering clear, compelling, and personalized communication about Jedox's Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) software, which helps businesses budget, forecast, and analyze data. The role involves extensive prospect research using buyer-intent signals and data enrichment tools, managing outbound campaigns across various motions (including reactivation and account-based outreach), and following up on inbound leads from webinars, trade shows, and demo requests. Designing and iterating on multi-channel outreach cadences (email, phone, LinkedIn) is also a key responsibility, along with close collaboration with Marketing and Sales teams to meet pipeline metrics.

Requirements

  • Around 6 months of Business Development experience in a quota-carrying position, ideally at a B2B SaaS company (strong candidates with less experience and the right mindset are welcome).
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or similar large language models for daily research, account intelligence, and outreach personalization.
  • Proven ability to prospect and qualify independently.
  • Experience with cold calling, structured email sequencing, and LinkedIn engagement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt messages to different finance roles (CFO, FP&A manager, VP of Finance).
  • Comfortable with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, 6sense, and other AI tools.
  • Familiarity with data enrichment tools (Clay, Apollo, or similar) is a strong plus.
  • A continuous drive to improve processes and take ownership of making them better.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of three days per week in the Boston office.

Responsibilities

  • Book sales appointments by creating targeted outreach strategies to engage decision-makers within the Ideal Customer Profile across mid-market and enterprise accounts.
  • Own and continuously test/improve AI-assisted workflows for research, personalization, and outreach, bringing structured experiments and learnings back to the wider BD team.
  • Deliver clear, compelling, and personalized communication tailored to planning, forecasting, modeling, and budgeting challenges, adapted to each account and persona.
  • Conduct prospect research using buyer-intent signals, data enrichment tools, and AI-assisted workflows to identify high-priority accounts and build informed outreach hypotheses.
  • Run structured outbound campaigns across selected target verticals, opportunistic reactivation motions, and account-based outreach tied to intent signals.
  • Follow up on webinar leads, trade show contacts, and demo requests.
  • Design and iterate on email, phone, and LinkedIn sequences to maximize engagement, owning the logic of cadences.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales teams to meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly pipeline metrics.
