About The Position

Jedox is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their team in Boston, MA. This role focuses on helping businesses plan for the future using Jedox's Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) software. The software empowers finance, sales, and other departments to budget, forecast, and analyze data. Jedox is recognized as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for EPM and is a top global player in the space.

Requirements

  • Around 6 months of Business Development experience in a quota-carrying position, ideally at a B2B SaaS company (strong candidates with less experience and the right mindset are also welcome).
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or similar large language models for daily research, account intelligence, and outreach personalization.
  • Proven ability to prospect and qualify independently.
  • Experience with cold calling, structured email sequencing, and LinkedIn engagement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt messages to different financial roles (CFO, FP&A manager, VP of Finance).
  • Comfortable with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, 6sense, and other AI tools.
  • Candidates must be based in the Boston area or willing to relocate.
  • Requires a minimum of three days per week in the office for in-person collaboration.

  • Familiarity with data enrichment tools (Clay, Apollo, or similar).

Responsibilities

  • Book sales appointments by creating targeted outreach strategies to engage decision-makers within the Ideal Customer Profile across mid-market and enterprise accounts.
  • Own and continuously test/improve AI-assisted workflows for research, personalization, and outreach, bringing structured experiments and learnings back to the wider BD team.
  • Deliver clear, compelling, and personalized communication tailored to planning, forecasting, modeling, and budgeting challenges, avoiding templated messages.
  • Conduct prospect research using buyer-intent signals, data enrichment tools, and AI-assisted workflows to identify high-priority accounts and build informed outreach hypotheses.
  • Own pipeline across all motions, primarily outbound, including structured outbound campaigns, opportunistic reactivation motions, and account-based outreach tied to intent signals.
  • Follow up on leads from webinars, trade shows, and demo requests.
  • Design and iterate on multi-channel outreach cadences (email, phone, LinkedIn) to maximize engagement, owning the logic of these sequences.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales teams to meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly pipeline metrics.
