Wonderly is building the first end-to-end AI business platform for service businesses. The roofers, contractors, med spas, and law firms that make up the majority of the economy are excellent at their craft and poor at running a business — and most of them should be generating 2–5x more revenue than they currently are. Today, solving this means hiring an agency, stitching together a dozen tools, and spending weeks on setup and maintenance. Even then, results are inconsistent and systems break constantly. Wonderly replaces all of it. Ads, website, lead intake, CRM, AI receptionist, follow-up, and project delivery — all in one platform, fully set up in minutes. Because we own every layer, nothing breaks at the seams. The integrations that fail in stitched-together systems simply don't exist inside Wonderly. What makes us different is that AI is native to the platform, not bolted on. Our agents don't just suggest — they actually run ads, build websites, answer calls, qualify leads, book meetings, follow up, and move deals through the pipeline. The goal is not incremental improvement. The goal is to take a business from a non-functional system to a high-performing one almost immediately. With backing from YC and Sam Altman, a $500M+ valuation, and hundreds of thousands of users, we're well positioned to lead. We're building for the majority of businesses in the economy. For them, AI doesn't need to be customizable — it needs to work. Wonderly is intense, fast, and not for everyone. If you want to work with top talent, push yourself harder than you thought possible, and help redefine how AI actually drives revenue for real businesses, you'll thrive here. The Hiring Manager, Bishop (Head of Customer Experience), is looking for early-career operators who can sell. People who can be put on the phone with a business owner and trusted to open the relationship, run the conversation, and move the deal forward. This role is described as the role the hiring manager would have wanted at age 22. In this role, you will own the top of the funnel, running outbound efforts to service business owners through cold calls and follow-ups to get them on the phone. You will pitch the Wonderly model, qualify leads for fit, and hand off qualified prospects (often live) to the closing team. You are the first human a future customer interacts with, and the pipeline growth depends on your efforts. This is not a script-reading position; as the outbound motion is early, you will help build the playbook, identify and fix broken processes, and contribute to improving the overall motion. The work is hands-on and high-volume, requiring you to be on the phone extensively, own your number, maintain your pipeline and CRM, and provide feedback on targeting and messaging. You are expected to engage in the 'grind' and think about improving the entire outbound process. To meet aggressive growth goals, you will analyze your own data, identify trends, and help build systems and processes for scaling volume. The best performers not only hit their targets but also contribute to building the machine that helps everyone succeed. This role is for individuals who want to carry a number, build the outbound engine, and rapidly improve their selling skills. What makes this role different is that it offers early involvement in the outbound engine of a fast-scaling company, providing significant ownership, influence on the playbook, and exposure to company growth from early traction to scale. Top performers can quickly advance into senior sales, team lead, or operations roles. Backgrounds that tend to thrive include prior SDR/BDR or phone-sales experience with a carried number, 2-6 years at a top startup in sales, ops, or a generalist role, or experience running a business or doing significant outbound/hustle work. Less valued are big-company functional roles focused on activity over outcomes, or roles with static playbooks. Key attributes are being sharp and calm on the phone, capable of holding conversations, handling objections, reading prospects quickly, making decisions with incomplete information, being competitive, owning your number, and proactively fixing issues rather than blaming the script. Expect 60-70 hour weeks during the growth phase, with real ownership of pipeline and number within two weeks, high call volume, and a constantly evolving scope. Compensation includes $70,000-$140,000 (base + on-target earnings) and equity. The role is remote (North America & Canada) with regular in-person gatherings at hacker houses. Wonderly is committed to diversity and inclusion.
