Business Development Representative (BDR)
About The Position
We’re looking for a motivated, results-driven Business Developer to identify new business opportunities, connect with decision-makers, and grow client relationships in a fast-paced staffing and recruitment environment. This hands-on, field-focused sales role is for someone who thrives on prospecting, enjoys face-to-face engagement, and is motivated by ambitious sales targets. Candidates based in or near Conroe, Tyler, Amarillo, Shawnee, Stillwater, Pryor, Tulsa, or Bentonville/Springdale are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will build and maintain a sales pipeline, develop territory plans, qualify staffing prospects, and coordinate qualified opportunities with the recruitment team. They will also grow client relationships, collaborate internally to deliver staffing solutions, and maintain accurate sales activity records while complying with legal and company requirements.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant sales or business development experience.
- Experience in B2B sales, prospecting, cold calling, and face-to-face selling.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
- Confidence engaging decision-makers and handling objections.
- A proactive, persistent, and self-motivated approach to achieving targets.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a sales pipeline independently.
- A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new business clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person visits.
- Build relationships with business owners, hiring managers, and other key decision-makers.
- Qualify prospects by understanding their staffing needs, budgets, and hiring timelines.
- Schedule client meetings and coordinate a smooth handover of qualified job opportunities to the recruitment team.
- Manage and maintain an active sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-ups.
- Develop territory sales plans and identify high-potential accounts.
- Grow existing client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
- Collaborate with the internal team to deliver effective staffing solutions.
- Maintain accurate sales activity records and comply with relevant legal and company requirements.
