About The Position

This position is accountable for managing a profile of the Business Development for Manufacturing and Processing customers in order to maintain and increase sales/growth and market share for the Protective & Marine Division. This position is a field position and will be expected to travel at least 50% of the time, in the Eastern Division - West Territory (covering around Pittsburgh,PA, Charleston & Morgantown, WV and Roanoke & Norfold, VA). Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company’s staff, employees, and business relationships.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1,etc.)
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted drivers license.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be willing to travel as required for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Have a bachelors degree or higher
  • Have two (2) years of experience in business-to-business sales in coating industry

Responsibilities

  • Managing a profile of Business Development for Manufacturing and Processing customers in order to maintain and increase sales/growth and market share for the Protective & Marine Division.
  • Serving as the single point of contact and managing Business Development Representative - Manufacturing and Processing -based customer relationships.
  • Coordinating pricing across geography/span of control.
  • Making major inroads to specific Business Development Representative - Manufacturing and Processing -based related customers and provide for Protective and Marine Coating needs in all of those various facilities/locations.
  • Working with specified sale representative teams within stated geography to ensure that specific Business Development Representative - Manufacturing and Processing locations receive the same level of service program offerings.
  • Effectively utilizing resources, marketing technical, and working with decision making facility individuals to meet customer expectations and achieve long-term sales/market growth.
  • Working with Product Marketing to create awareness of new products to serve customer needs.
  • Managing a territory that will vary based on Sales Manager input and aligned with current Manufacturing and Processing Reps within that region.
