About The Position

The role of the Business Development Representative is to generate qualified sales opportunities by identifying, engaging, and nurturing prospective clients. This position is responsible for executing outbound and inbound prospecting activities to build a strong sales pipeline. This position is also responsible for qualifying leads and supporting revenue growth through disciplined outreach and follow-through.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1 – 2 years’ experience in a related sales role
  • Fluency in the English language
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and strong relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Advanced skills in prospecting and lead generation
  • Advanced presentation and public speaking skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools
  • Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated
  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Basic mathematical skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted campaigns to generate leads
  • Identify and research potential clients then initiate contact through various channels including phone/cold calling, email, campaigns, and social media to qualify leads
  • Provide the business development team with thoroughly vetted leads and cultivate relationships with prospects, establishing them as potential clients and paving the way for sales team engagement
  • Support marketing in lead-generating activities, doing pre/post follow up campaigns on qualified leads
  • Record all communications and activity in the CRM software to track leads, manage client interaction, and monitor sales performance
  • Field cross selling opportunities from internal parties and distribute appropriately to outside sales representatives
  • Work with sales and marketing to prepare and supply information, collateral, or any other requested information from prospects
  • Conduct market research to discover untapped markets and industries to identify new opportunities
  • Track sales activities in the CRM; prepare and submit regular sales reports as required
  • Upsell and cross sell services
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve client issues
  • Develop effective sales strategies and identify opportunities to improve sales performance
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and propose ideas
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration between countries and cultures within all regions
  • Assist in sales project work as required
  • Act as backup to other members of the sales Departments
