About The Position

LiftOne is a family-owned company with a strong culture and values, seeking hard-working, team-oriented professionals for a Business Development Representative role. This position offers hands-on training in inside sales, outside sales, operations, and product lines. Business Development Representatives (BDRs) are responsible for finding new sales leads through various research methods, assisting Account Managers by referring qualified leads, and maintaining existing accounts. The role requires a strong work ethic, resilience, and a desire for career growth within the company's extensive Material Handling network.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree or extensive related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s product lines, technical aspects, business cycle, and customer support.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calling, and email/social media connections.
  • Source new leads.
  • Maintain and expand database of prospects within assigned territory.
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Account Managers for further development and closure.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and promotions; participating in educational opportunities; adapting to changing technologies.
  • Assist Account Managers with information gathering and quoting when necessary.
  • Call for updates from existing accounts.
  • Work with current Account Managers to include sales calls and visits.
  • Work with Account Managers throughout the quoting process to familiarize with internal processes.
  • Present to regional teams for updates and alignment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
